phew!! so finally i have landed in haridwar...
some 900 kms away from home(BhopAL) to another home(Haridwar) of mine..
my father has been living and working here since last two years..
n though i visited him rarely but enjoy my visits a lot..
n here i AM ON MY LAST VISIT to this HOLY CITY..
(coz dad's shiftin bak..his work here is over)..
he will b home finally with all of us.. we will b all together once again..:D
neways bfore this homecoming happens...i am here to visit some of the most b'ful cities n religious places of our country..
my journey will start from HARIDWAR TOWARDS BADRINATH on tuesday..
then will ascend to GANGOTRI...(THE BIRTH PLACE OF GANGA)
after that will start descending to MUSSOURIE,DEHRADOON n then RISHIKESH...
n finally to HARIDWAR...on the banks of the b'ful river GANGA..
though the city(HARIDWAR) is too dirty n congested (courtesy the tourists n devotees..dirty ppl)
but still GANGES maintains her royality..
SHE's still magnificent n flows with all her vigour.
n this is the perfect time to have a glimpse of our country's most famous river...
i mean the rainy season when the dams are opened n the river flows in 3 streams at Harki Paidi..
one stream is the main river which flows with all its strength...just out from the dam...
the other one is diverted channel for the devotees...to have bath...in a less powerful GANGES...
i mean it has been diverted in a large stream with a very slow speed to provide safety to the bathing
devotees...
n the third one is for draining industrial wastes...huh!! so finally logo ko kuch akkal aai..
atleast they have started thinkin abt a cleaner GANGES...someday or the other the plan will work out properly...n we will have a cleaner HOLY RIVER...n a cleaner HOLY CITY..
but for now...GANGES N THE VALLEY is b'ful as we move up...its even much more cleaner at Rishikesh..
so i am dyin to see the beauty of our ANCIENT river in its birthplace...n in the way towards the EARTH..
i am hopin to have a wondeful trip...
m too excited abt the 14 hours drive up in the valley...eeeeeeeee....
n i just cant wait to click pictures..
will keep in touch n will keep updating....atleast i will try..

n today i talked to my some very old frens.. frens from my time in DELHI... i wasnt in touch with them for say last 8 yrs...n suddenly i found them on ORKUT... really ORKUT ki jai ho... i cant tell u ppl how happy n satisfied i am...to have found them.. its always good to b with old frens...
n as the message in the above picture says.."some ppl always live with u...infact they live inside u..forever"
its a lovely feeling..i am just unable to come down to earth.. but some gurgles say i am on earth:P ...oh thats my stomach...dinner time...

"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY" today for my future inlaws...its their 24th Wedding Anniversary but cudnt somehow.. they have gone to SHIRDI to celebrate the day..i tried to wish them..but again cudnt..as usual..nobody is intersted in bein wished by me.. sub mujhe bhool gaye... i am out of the party too..

hence today was so boring..it just passed by. i didnt even realise din kaha chala gaya...kept snoring without sleepin ...
shaam ko went out with ma n bought a pair of shoes..
(acche se choona lagaya hehehhe ) ate panipuri, jalebi n kesar kulfi.. n lots more...yummy..
but still the day was like a wind... whooooooosh n its already 9:50....n i will goto bed in an hour n sleep till 10 tomorrow..nooooooooooooooo not 10 kal to i have an lr test.
waise i dont have to study for that...LR ..
neway so my overall day was like the picture...
i mean i had the similar expression ...n the day passed by...behind my chair.

yesterday i was at home the whole day... ..n i got too bored...n the icing to add up to my mood was a cancelled date with SURAJ...i was supposed to go out with him for LUNCH.. .but cudnt somehow..
but who cares..i went out today....
had a great lunch...some nice flowers n a b'ful coffe mug...

so this is the mug.. i loved it, n the perfect timing too...n the best part was the surprise...i wasnt expecting all this today..neways loved it all...

The children of Iraq are caught up in war for the third time in 20 years. UNICEF is deeply concerned by the further deteriorating conditions brought on by this war and their impact on children of Iraq. Almost half of the population is under the age of 18. Even before the most recent conflict began, many children were highly vulnerable to disease and malnutrition. One in four children under five years of age is chronically malnourished. One in eight children die before their fifth birthday.

The recent war and its effect on children have to be seen in the broader context of Iraq's situation, which is unique in many ways. An eight-year war with Iran in the 1980s and the Gulf War in 1991 greatly damaged Iraq's infrastructure. The country has been under comprehensive United Nations sanctions for 12 years since the Gulf War.

To reduce the humanitarian impact of the sanctions, the Oil for Food Programme (OFFP) was introduced in 1996, which allowed the Iraqi government to sell oil and use the revenue to purchase humanitarian supplies. The programme helped arrest further deterioration in the humanitarian situation but did not greatly improve conditions for most Iraqis, because of revenue shortfalls and structural problems inherent in the programme. Thus, the basic services infrastructure of Iraq on the eve of this war remained in a deplorable state.

In the months leading up to the war in mid-March 2003, UNICEF pre-positioned over $14 million in emergency supplies and equipment in and around Iraq, and established logistics hubs along the border with neighbouring countries, which allowed for quick trans-border deliveries of relief supplies into Iraq once the war broke out.

So may b its time we stop the wars...how long will these NGO's strive on their own..

i always mess things up when it comes to talking..

yeah i know i look like a miserable person who is no good in communicating n thats even true...
i am the messiest person u can find on the face of this planet...
words in this manner i mean the written manner are the best way i can use them... i can just hope that.. u ppl are the judges..

dont they understand what u feel...or what u wanna say...by just lookin at u??
no not always...life these days is so hectic n tiring that these days ppl just dont pick up the vibes...or may b they just ignore them... i dunno but u need words....words for everything...
from expressin ur love to ur hurt....everything needs to b audible infact yelled out at the highest pitch of ur voice... coz ur whispers will never b heard..
n ppl... "in all the lovely ppl around me i love the GOD most....HE IS THE BEST..." coz he never needs words... he knows what i want...n what i feel... though he rarely grants my wishes... but HE listens n to my surprise HE always fulfills them when i am least expecting..:D
i love surprises....n i love the communication method used...
coming down on my knees...closing my eyes n thinkin of HIM is all needed n whooooooosh.... he is their...
n i believe,that in ur lives u always come across ppl who r like GOD.. i mean who understand u beyond words..n love u beyond ur personality....
in my life there are many such ppl...but obv they are not perfectonists... may b thats why m complainin n writin this post....
