phew!! so finally i have landed in haridwar...
some 900 kms away from home(BhopAL) to another home(Haridwar) of mine..
my father has been living and working here since last two years..
n though i visited him rarely but enjoy my visits a lot..
n here i AM ON MY LAST VISIT to this HOLY CITY..
(coz dad's shiftin bak..his work here is over)..
he will b home finally with all of us.. we will b all together once again..:D
neways bfore this homecoming happens...i am here to visit some of the most b'ful cities n religious places of our country..
my journey will start from HARIDWAR TOWARDS BADRINATH on tuesday..
then will ascend to GANGOTRI...(THE BIRTH PLACE OF GANGA)
after that will start descending to MUSSOURIE,DEHRADOON n then RISHIKESH...
n finally to HARIDWAR...on the banks of the b'ful river GANGA..
though the city(HARIDWAR) is too dirty n congested (courtesy the tourists n devotees..dirty ppl)
but still GANGES maintains her royality..
SHE's still magnificent n flows with all her vigour.
n this is the perfect time to have a glimpse of our country's most famous river...
i mean the rainy season when the dams are opened n the river flows in 3 streams at Harki Paidi..
one stream is the main river which flows with all its strength...just out from the dam...
the other one is diverted channel for the devotees...to have bath...in a less powerful GANGES...
i mean it has been diverted in a large stream with a very slow speed to provide safety to the bathing
devotees...
n the third one is for draining industrial wastes...huh!! so finally logo ko kuch akkal aai..
atleast they have started thinkin abt a cleaner GANGES...someday or the other the plan will work out properly...n we will have a cleaner HOLY RIVER...n a cleaner HOLY CITY..
but for now...GANGES N THE VALLEY is b'ful as we move up...its even much more cleaner at Rishikesh..
so i am dyin to see the beauty of our ANCIENT river in its birthplace...n in the way towards the EARTH..
i am hopin to have a wondeful trip...
m too excited abt the 14 hours drive up in the valley...eeeeeeeee....
n i just cant wait to click pictures..
will keep in touch n will keep updating....atleast i will try..
